Foundations
Foundations is a 8 week course that focuses on teaching dogs how to learn as well as teaching handlers how to use positive reinforcement and shaping to learn new behaviours. The course specifically teaches foundations for the sport of agility.
Before you enrol in a Foundations course, please undertake the self-assessment to ensure you and your dog are ready for this course.
At the end of the 8 week course, dogs and handlers will need to pass an assessment to progress to Beginners classes. Foundations can be repeated indefinitely. Dogs must be 6 months of age to take part in the class.

Beginners
The Beginners program runs for 8 weeks. Dogs and handlers are introduced to a variety of different obstacles using one core handling system. There is an assessment at week 8 to determine your progression onto the next level.
All dogs must have either successfully completed Foundations, or been assessed as competent by our instructor team, to join Beginners.

Elementary
The Elementary program runs for 8 weeks per program with dogs and handlers being introduced to a variety of different obstacles using one core handling system. Weekly classes will focus on three jump types, tunnels and introduces the basics for contact equipment and weave poles.
There is no restriction on how long a dog may remain in Elementary however to move from this class into the Starters class, dogs and handlers must pass an evaluation, have their BAAD title or ANKC equivalent .
All dogs must have either successfully completed Beginners , or been assessed as competent by our instructor team, to join Elementary.

7pm Casual drop in Class
This class is for those handlers and dog that have completed both the Beginners and the Elementary programs and have a solid grasp of the course content. Dogs may have commenced trialling.
This class continues the progression of teaching the dogs and handlers the contact equipment (Dog Walk, A-Frame and Seesaw) and also the weave poles.
To progress from this class your dog will need to have achieved an AAD title or ANKC equivalent AND have demonstrated that they will not leave their handler and can complete a number of handling skills.

8pm Casual drop in class
This class is for those who are currently trialling their dogs in competitions at the Open A or Excellent level and have received their BAAD title or ANKC equivalent.

All classes take place on a Tuesday night between 7pm-9:15pm at Meakin Park Junior Sports Club, 32 Meakin Rd, Slacks Creek QLD 4127
